The Best Day Ever!

Welcome to my new dog park! It's called Cosmo Dog Park! Yesterday was my first day ever at a dog park!

At first I was way overwhelmed! There were so many other four legged humans, and they sniffed me, I sniffed them...they charged me, and I ran away. It stayed that way for a bit until I got used to the fact that I was free to run anywhere that I pleased! Meet some of my new friends!

I had so much fun with the other four legged humans, especially the ones that were around my age! This is Bubba...a 4 month old English Mastiff...we frolicked together, it was cute...then he got suds all over my human. I asked her to save them for me, but she was quick to wipe the suds away! He didn't like his picture taken, so my human had some difficulties getting a shot of his face.

I don't know who he is, but he just came flying around every now and then!

Then I decided, it was time to take on the water! I ran and ran through it...unfortunately, I did not realize that it got deep, so I kept jumping and momentarily sunk!!! I almost drowned! Until I started running under water and I learned to paddle! Yea!!! I played in the lake and now I can swim!!! Woohoo!
This is me recovering from my near drowning! Before you say it...I do not look like a drowned rat! I look like a very wet T-Bone Beasley!

I look like a flying rabbit! Go Bease Go!!!

After I did a few more laps through the water, I moved onto the other side of the park and met my new friend Laela...she's pretty much the same age as me!!! We had such a great time just playing bitey face!

Today really was the best day ever! I can't wait to do it again!

Slurp!

Mr. T How exciting for you! I remember your human talking about dog parks before you were born...I just knew that it was only a matter of time before you would visit one. I love your running through the water pictures....and you look like a "Dale" and not a rabbit in the water. Guess I better get the kids a baby pool here soon as it is getting hot! Love you

Mr. T -
Tell Momma not to be bothered by the suds, it is good for coat conditioning. Looks like a great party.

What a pawsome time you had! That's so cool that you learned how to swim! The only water we ever get into is mud puddles or the bath tub. We would love to go to a dog park, but there aren't any close to where we live. Maybe, someday!

Poppy & Penny

Wow, T-Bone that park looks so fun to play in. I would love the water for sure. I don't think we have a dog park around here close, but mum said there is a lake she will take me too sometime...I wonder how long sometime is?

Oh, and I almost forgot...there are some chewies in the box for you also...They are very good. You might want to hide them from the kitties, so they don't get all jealous and stuff.

Man, I am so jealous! It looks like you had a BLAST, T-Bone! I wish I could have been there, too!

I'm glad you didn't drown. I learned how to run under water when my human bro threw a rock in deep water, and I thought it was my duty to get the rock. However, the only water I had ever seen before was in my water dish, so thought I was gonna drown when I fell right through what I thought was solid 'ground'. And that is how I got my fear of water that lasted about 4 years. Only in my last years have I enjoyed swimming!

Great pictures! You met so many new, fun lookin' friends! I hope you have many more days like this one!

You're quite the social butterfly - GREAT water shots....can't wait to see more....

Oh my goodness!!! Are you okay now? I have gotten really big, here recently. I know this, cuz I overheard my mum and dad talking. I would have bit his legs until he folded to the ground had I seen him do that to my lil pal. Soon, Beasley you will be as big as I am, and if that black dog is ever at the park again, you can get your revenge. But be careful, make sure no one is watchin. I would help you if I was there. You can eat the chewies! They are delicious. Yogurt is good too, tell your mum to get you some of that.
I am sure your mum tried to save you from the big black dog cuz I know she loves you so much.

That picture of you almost drowning makes my mummy want to give you a great big hug. Personally, I would have rescued you and then giggled with you....

Cooool... I used to go to a dog park, before I "became a man" and suddenly wanted to jump on everyone rather than play. Ah well!

It looks like you're having fun!!!

Love your park, Beaser! Lots of cool friends there & an amazing swimming area! Did they have a snack shack too? All good pools & parks should have one.

Can't believe you learned how to swim so fast! Way to go, man!

Goober love & swimming smooches,
